Today we learned about what ambulance officers do. We talked about how to phone for help. We need to know our address so that we can tell the ambulance where to come. If we don't know our address yet, it is a good thing to practise at home with our family.
Paula from St. Johns was very cool! She showed us what is inside an ambulance, that an ambulance has 3 different siren noises, what some equipment looks like and what they use it for and she also gave us heaps of free resources including a pack of plasters, a fridge magnet and an ambulance to colour in! We all wanted to be an ambulance officer :)
