We are proud to announce that the School Jarping Champion is from Te Kakano! Well done Stella, it took courage to stand up in front of the school for the final, but you kept your cool and came away a champion!

24 Pairs of Rabbit Ears!
Wow! What hard workers we have in TK. Today we made ourselves rabbit ears! We watched Mrs White make one, and then we made ears all by ourselves! There was lots of problem solving and peer tutoring. Well done TK, your ears are amazing!

Scrub-a-Dub-Dub!
One of our school values is to be a Responsible Citizen. Te Kakano takes pride in being responsible for their classroom environment. On Friday we made sure that the tables would be glistening on Monday morning, ready for another week of learning!

The Puppet Shows
Today some children decided to put on a show for us all. They made some of the props themselves! It was a great opportunity to learn about working as a team and developing our Oral Language skills too :)
