Term 2 Week 9 - Song of the Week - 'Brontasaurus Boogie'

Have some dinosaur fun with this week's song guys!

The Brontosaurus Boogie

I’m not crazy ‘bout shufflin’ around,

I want to make some noise

When my feet hit the ground.

I never did like the twist or the jive.

There’s only one dance

Makes me feel alive …

CHORUS

The Brontosaurus Boogie

The Brontosaurus Boogie

The Brontosaurus Boogie

The only dance for me.

You stamp your feet

Upon the floor.

You wobble your seat

And let out a great big ROAR!

It’s big, it’s loud, it’s the latest craze

And it’s always been around

Since the early days.

Right back then when the world began

Before there was any woman or man.

CHORUS

The Brontosaurus Boogie

Matariki Class Item - Thursday 9th June :)

As part of our Maori celebrations, Te Kākano sang and performed 'Tirama, Tirama Matariki' to the tune of 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star'!

The star constellation Pleiades, known as 'Matariki', appears in the sky at Dawn during the Maori New Year which started on the 6th of June this year!

Also known as The Seven Sisters, Matariki symbolises hope and prospects for a year of plenty and good things for everyone!

Happy Matariki :)
