What a cracker of a day at YMS!

We covered everything from Home Baking to Sand Saucers, Pet Stones, Soft Toys, Ponies, Hens, Budgies, Guinea Pigs, Cats, Dogs, Goats, Sheep and even Tadpoles!

We had class Hobby Horse racing and enjoyed a range of Agri-Sports including Grain Sack jumping, Hay Bale hurdles and Gumboot Wanging!

Our judges were totally amazing, giving their time to come and enjoy our lovely event with us - Thank you so, so much.

Our friends from Norwood Farm Machinery brought over 2 enormous tractors for the day which really added a special note to the day too!

Massive thank you to everyone who played any part in such a successful day for our tamariki!

School Trip to Town!

What a fantastic experience we had together visiting the newly refurbished Town Hall in Christchurch.

The whole school travelled together to watch the CSO (Christchurch Symphony Orchestra) perform 'The Big Bang' concert for us as well as 6 other schools too - they were amazing!

We all walked along the River Avon to the Margaret Mahy playground, enjoyed our lunch then had a fabulous play together until the buses came to collect us to return to school!

Thank you so much to all our whānau who were able to come and support on the day - you were awesome!

We also discussed that the Cheetah is the fastest creature on land clocked at 120kmh
