Looking after our native birds...

Today at writing we talked about animals and people who look after them. We wrote zoo stories. Mrs White told a story about her Dad who helps keep native birds safe. He walks through the bush to check traps. These traps catch rats, hedgehogs and stoats. These animals eat the babies and eggs of native birds. Here is a photo of Mr C checking a trap.
