Lest we forget...

ANZAC Day is very important because it is a chance for us all to remember the very brave soldiers who went to war to fight and did not come back home again.

They did this sacrifice so that we could be safe in our wonderful country - thank you.

We thought about you all when we made our field of poppies in class.

  1. Morena,
We love the poppies you made for ANZAC Day. They are beautiful.
Koromiko also made some Poppies to put in the window at the library.
Did anyone in your class go to the ANZAC service?

    Koromiko.

  2. Kia ora Koromiko,

Thanks heaps for the comment :) Two of our class went to a service and one actually wore her great, great grandad's medals.

We have put another Blog post up with some medals on that you could look at.

    Cheers,

    Te Kākano
