We enjoyed reading 'The Dawn Parade' big book and found out why we commemorate ANZAC Day each year and what all the different parts of the ceremony are for.
We made our own poppies to wear and then Mrs White led us through a 'running-up' of our National flag on the school flag pole outside our class.
Some of us enjoyed drawing poppies and retelling the ANZAC story using our role play puppets.
Lest we forget...We shall remember...
